We had a great and FUN night....my sister was completely surprised and we had an amazing time, thank you for asking!  Your limo was quite nice and we thoroughly enjoyed the bottled water and bottle of champagne. But I am going to be completely open and honest with you in regards to your Chauffeur.  My personal experiences in the past in dealing with chauffeurs, has always been quite good, they are usually very outgoing, eager and optimistic in their approach and overall attitude.  But regretfully, dealing with Paul (I believe this is his name) from the very first impression, to my dealings with him during the evening, he appeared more put out then truly focused on providing a positive experience for his clients. The first thing out of his mouth to me was not an introduction of himself, but a borderline warning hinting of discipline regarding food, vomiting in the limo and having this $200 dollar charge to my credit card if clean up was needed or necessary. I instantly felt myself feeling disappointed since it was quite obvious his mind set was on being more of a disciplinarian than our host for the evening. He immediately pulled out the contract, had me sign and asked for my money/check and even hinted at the fact I could tip him now if I so chose to do so. I then offered him my hand to shake and said "nice to meet you, my name is Debbie, and I am the one who rented the limo for the evening"...I think he then realized he might need an intro of himself first before barking and stressing rules.

I did hand him my payment, along with his tip (although I did feel this was a bit inappropriate since we had not even left my home yet, although I based giving it to him on the fact that his tip was folded into and noted clearly on your billing, so I went along with paying him his tip up front)  He never explained the use of the vehicle, how to use the radio/CD player, lights, how to get a hold of him when the divider was up (which was the entire evening), he never offered to open the champagne or even showed us the location of the water bottles...absolutely nothing was explained to me or my party other than the rules, breaking them and the cost to my credit card.

From there it seemed his main focus stayed based on rules and discipline and at times I felt it was quite inappropriate for a group of grown women/adults. He could have attempted some optimism and made some sort of true effort to present himself as being a bit more eager to make our experience a positive one.  Although I do understand and can appreciate the negative experiences with previous "party" type groups (which he shared openly more than once), this did not mean anything to me personally nor to my party. It appeared that Paul had no real idea or overall interest in getting to know the group he was dealing with or speaking to (which happened to include two nurses, surgical technician, school teachers, ophthalmologist, business owner, dental hygienist...to name a few of them) He appeared overall uninterested in providing a service other than simply driving a vehicle.  Maybe in today's world that is all that is expected of Chauffeurs...it is simply to drive a car?

If not for the fact his tip was noted on your bill, I do not believe I would have given him $108 for the evening...not sure what I felt that he truly "deserved" and/or earned for the evening.  I am not typically one to respond back to inquiries with such negative feelings or feedback...but felt you should be made aware. The evening was based on the fact that my sister turned 40 yrs old, but moreover, she survived breast cancer and I wanted to fully celebrate her life..again, Paul had NO idea who he was working or dealing with, and maybe if he knew or attempted to know that he was dealing with grown professional women, and a cancer survivor who is truly very lucky and blessed to have reached this milestone in her life, perhaps he may have had a different general attitude and approach.  But in business, this should not matter and each and every client should be dealt with in a professional manner (I should know, I am a RN and deal with the public each and every day and never treat a patient based on my experiences with a previous patient)

I am not quite sure if I would recommend your company to another grown adult group knowing that a Chauffeur like Paul may be their host/driver for the evening and that is being completely upfront and honest with you. I believe our party was quite a benign group and even brought our own trash bags into the limo to pick up anything at the end of our evening...we were probably the "easiest" group to be working with...so in my opinion it was Paul loss and not ours.

So Melony, not sure if you are responsible for your company's Chauffeurs but you may want to work a bit with Paul and possibly help him with his overall approach and demeanor because he is a direct reflection on your company and it's current and future business. I do thank him for getting us to and from our destination safely, that indeed was greatly appreciated.

Melony, I certainly will take the time to thank you for being so great at booking in such a timely manner and for being so genuine, you are a true asset to your company.
